Enigmatos is proud to announce the completion and successful delivery of a vehicle simulator to the Israel Cyber Center for Intelligent Transportation Systems (CyITS). In line with our ongoing involvement and foundational role with the CyITS, this project underscores our dedication to supporting sophisticated research and development within the realm of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Reflecting the Intricacies of Real Vehicles

The vehicle simulator, meticulously constructed to meet CyITS’s stringent technical requirements, offers a comprehensive and realistic representation of an actual vehicle’s electronic and electrical systems. This system serves as an invaluable tool for various study, practice, and experiment activities conducted by CyITS.

Key Features of the Vehicle Simulator
Our team’s effort has culminated in a robust simulator with features that ensure a wide range of demonstrations and experiments can be conducted without compromising the system’s integrity:

  • Detailed rendering of vehicle components such as lighting, wipers, engine, and gearbox management systems
  • An all-encompassing brake control and communication systems array
  • A dedicated infotainment system, complete with multimedia capabilities
  • Dual OBD connections for extensive vehicle diagnostics

The setup also incorporates a durable design with mobile capabilities, facilitating ease of transport within the CyITS’s facility. The simulator, which is stationed on an aluminum stand with wheels, has been thoughtfully crafted to provide sustainable operation and seamless mobility.

Enigmatos and CyITS: Collaborating for Safer, More Efficient Transportation

With the completion of this vehicle simulator, Enigmatos reaffirms its strong commitment to the collective efforts of the CyITS. This project not only supports the CyITS’s mission to certify products for safe ITS operations but also reinforces our role as a provider of professional and reliable technical solutions.

As we continue our collaborative journey with CyITS, we remain focused on contributing to the safe and efficient evolution of transportation systems. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all involved for their hard work and commitment, which proved instrumental in achieving this significant milestone within the projected timeframe.

EDC messages are diagnostic information or error codes generated by the Electronic Diesel Control (EDC) system. This EDC system is responsible for controlling aspects like fuel injection, air control, and exhaust after-treatment, among others. It ensures optimal engine performance and compliance with emission standards.

Importance of Monitoring EDC Messages

  • Early Detection of Issues: EDC messages can indicate early signs of potential problems. By monitoring these messages, maintenance teams can address issues before they escalate into major repairs, reducing vehicle downtime.
  • Enhanced Vehicle Performance: Regular monitoring helps maintain engine efficiency. Addressing any EDC alerts promptly ensures that the engine operates at its best, improving fuel efficiency and reducing wear and tear.
  • Compliance with Emission Standards: Modern diesel engines are designed to meet stringent emission regulations. EDC systems play a crucial role in managing emissions, and monitoring their messages helps ensure that vehicles remain compliant.
  • Improved Safety: Some EDC messages might relate to critical engine functions. Addressing these promptly reduces the risk of engine failures that could lead to accidents or unsafe situations.
  • Cost-Efficiency: Proactive maintenance based on EDC data can lead to cost savings. It’s often more economical to fix a minor issue than to deal with a major breakdown.

Our Company’s Service: Daily EDC Reports
Our company offers a specialized service where we provide daily reports of EDC messages from your fleet’s vehicles. This service offers several benefits:

  • Streamlined Operations: Receiving daily reports allows maintenance teams to plan and prioritize their work more effectively, leading to more streamlined operations.
  • Actionable Insights: Our reports translate EDC messages into actionable insights. Maintenance teams will not only be alerted to issues but also guided on how to handle them.
  • Customized Alerts: Depending on your needs, we can customize alerts. Whether you need information on critical errors or a comprehensive overview, our reports can be tailored to your requirements.
  • Historical Data Analysis: Over time, our reports can help you analyze trends and patterns, aiding in predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Enhanced Fleet Management: By integrating our reports into your fleet management strategy, you can enhance overall fleet performance, reduce downtime, and improve cost-efficiency.

Our daily EDC report service is designed to empower your maintenance teams with the information they need to keep your vehicles running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This proactive approach not only streamlines operations but also contributes to the long-term health and profitability of your fleet.

Employee Highlight

I served in the Cyber Unit of the Israeli Ministry of Defense during my military service. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University. I’m 25 years old, married and have one child. Currently, I am employed as a data engineer at Enigmatos.

🧭 My journey with the company began two years ago when I was still a computer science student. Currently, I am engaged in developing a system responsible for generating daily and weekly reports for fleet managers. These reports provide essential information for cyber monitoring and predictive maintenance of fleets’ vehicles.

🔒I also assume responsibility for ensuring privacy compliance, which includes adhering to European GDPR and ISO 27001 standards. Our company, specializing in data and cybersecurity, is firmly committed to upholding these regulations.

💡I’ve recently created a driver behavior report which has shed light on a number of critical areas requiring attention. These deficiencies encompass both drivers’ conduct, resulting in significant financial losses, as well as behaviors that pose risks to human lives. We expect this report to generate substantial long-term value.

🥘The rule I follow is that every outing with me either begins or concludes with food 😉. Additionally, I take great pleasure in spending quality time with my family and friends. Occasionally, I set aside some personal time for activities such as working out or unwinding with a captivating TV series. A recent hobby I’ve picked up involves watching videos and pictures of my daughter before bedtime, witnessing her growth day by day. It’s one of the most thrilling experiences I’ve had.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑I believe the most exceptional aspect of Enigmatos is the quality of its human resources. It genuinely feels like a nurturing and closely-knit family. Collaborative assistance among team members is a prevalent practice, and there is nothing more valuable than starting the workday with a smile.

🦶Those who are familiar with me understand that I’m a person who values control and stability, always staying grounded. However, sometimes people may not realize that this trait has a humorous side to it. For instance, I’ve consistently driven a car without wearing shoes…
